What is the trick to placing images on top of each other and using the target show/hide image action. Sometimes it works for me, other times it can change the target#s of the different graphics. These are graphic text boxes, if it makes a difference.

I think the biggest thing you have to watch for is Combining Images - ie make sure they dont.
Other than that you should at least update to the latest 5 version which is 5.6.5
