It would be very useful to have a visual gallery of all the different templates now available. Or do we have to download each and every one to choose?

You don’t have to download templates separately, and there isn’t actually a way to do that.
Choosing Install Templates from the Xway menu will download all the available templates. You can view them individually by choosing New from Template in the File menu.
Many of the Xway templates that are available were converted from Freeway templates, which you can view at https://marketplace.softpress.com. (The Xway versions are free - you don’t need to purchase them!)
