Hi Norbert,
You can convert a Fretspace document into stationery (a kind of template) by selecting it in the Finder, choosing Get Info from the File menu, and selecting the Stationery pad checkbox. After you’ve done that, double-clicking on it in the Finder will duplicate the document and open the duplicate in Fretspace.
What I tend to do more often is to open a document that I wish to use as a template (in Fretspace or any other application) and duplicate it using the Duplicate option in the File menu.
