Has anyone used Paul Dunning’s Text Flow Action?

Despite (AFAIK) following the instructions to the letter it reports, “there are no image map paths on this page” even though there are.

I’m doing a CSS based layout rather than a table. I’m obviously doing something wrong but I can’t see what it is.

While you are preparing the page, try using the Site Pane to see if your paths are not accidentally parented by other items. If they are, then un-parent them. Make sure that your paths are children of the page itself, not any other item on the page.

Thanks for this second post Paul - it was the bit about ‘parents’ that nailed it!

I’m doing a centred box layout based on Dan Jaskar’s tutorial, so there are many parent/child relationships. I tried your action starting from a plain blank page on a new site and it worked straight off.

My difficulty now is how to incorporate it into my main site layout if this is possible. I guess for a beginner I’m being pretty ambitious, but FW gets you that way :slight_smile:
