Certainly - you can use the normal Link tool by selecting the text and Cmd K to bring up the Edit Hyperlink dialogue box and then provide a link to a Pdf file on your server. This method requires a manual upload of the PDF.
However you may find it much easier to click in your run of text until you get a flashing cursor and Insert>Action Item>Link to PDF
Now select the action item in your text and set the parameters in the Action interface. This includes the text for the link (Name) and the location of the PDF that will be uploaded with the rest of your FW files.
