Text-styling unpredictable in Tables

I’ve got the latest Freeway Express, but I’m having a terrible time
trying to get the styles of text to come out the way they’re supposed
to in Tables.

If there were a way to get screenshots in these e-mails, I’d show a
clipping with all the styles set to plain text and the size to
“Default” for the table of contents I’ve got here:

But you can do the next best thing - get your screenshots appearing on the Web Based FWT

You will need to upload your screenshot to some server space somewhere and then reference them like this

![alt_text](http://www.yoursite.com/screenshot.jpg)

Then at least the Web based viewers will be able to see them.

Also your link doesn’t work for me.

David,

Thanks for the tip.

Here’s an attempt to upload a screenshot of my problem with text-styling in tables.

Despite my constantly removing links on “Geometry”, for example, it seems to “inherit” the link from the line above “Ways of Growing”.

And italic fonts keep appearing and sizes come out wrong. I guess it’s possible to ignore it, but it doesn’t look very good.

I think you need to look at setting up some permanent styles but as you are using Express I can’t really help as I am not sure of FWXP’s limitations in this respect. Have a look in the Manual paying particular attention to styles.

What I do see is that some of your lines are split into 2 links rather than one continuous one.

You can avoid this by unlinking the text and selecting it all before relinking.

Thanks. It looks like the styles tend to get chopped up in lists and tables, especially if these keep getting rearranged. I’ll try to keep everything as uniform as possible.

As Joe says “Style first and then add your links”
