TextMate 2.0 alpha

Anyone tried the new alpha http://macromates.com? It looks sharp.

I’m starting right now … loving it already.

Would be nice though when the page source code could be ‘reflown’, you know? BBEdit did it.

TextMate does far more powerful reflow tricks than BBEdit ever did. (One of its strongest features, IMO.) Look in the Text menu. Select a line or two, and choose Unwrap. Or select a bunch of text you edited and choose Reformat Selection. TM uses the language rules for the current coding language to decide where to indent each line. This is one of the most powerful tools in my JavaScript debugging arsenal, because it can alert me to a missed closing brace or parenthesis when staring at it won’t. If the last line doesn’t end up at the same indent as the first, then I have missed something basic.
