thank you!

I want to thank you all for all of your help… I am learning so much
from your corrections etc…

Keith - I even “snapped to grid” a few times and am getting it =)

Yes Dave - I understand and agree that skylines don’t “sell” but this
is what he wants… I might change it at some time - if I find
something to replace it with.

Paul, the text increases and all move… YEAH!!

The website is done… With your help and expertise - the client is
throughly impressed…
And trust me - I have given all of you credit to him.

Don’t do that! Well, by all means mention that you have technical
resources to draw on to solve issues as necessary, but don’t
undermine your own work.

But at the same time DO please be careful about overselling your
abilities, and DO practise using grids. A lot.

Keith,

He is an old friend - I would not do it with a “real” client.

I will thank you … and I will start working on some “dummy sites”
that have the grid… that is a great tool…

I just wanted to remind everyone that everything that gets mentioned
here on FreewayTalk not only goes out as an e-mail but also gets
stored on http://www.FreewayTalk.net
The site gets spidered by all the major search engines and any
comments are easily captured. This generally isn’t an issue (we want
these comments to be found by people looking for the same answers as
you) but every now and then someone will say something about a client
or project that could get them into hot water if the client were to
read it. It’s not that uncommon for clients to vanity searches or set
up Google Alerts to tell them what sites are mentioning their work.
I’d hate to see anyone get in trouble because of a passing of a
fleeting comment on an e-mail. Someone once told me that the e in e-
mail stands for evidence.
Thanks,
Tim.
