This is strange...

Not sure if this is a Freeway/Showcase bug or if something is amiss with my sever…but it seems that Showcase causes a page that is not in a password protected directory to call up password protection.

On this site I do indeed have a directory that is password protected. However, the page that contains the showcase gallery is NOT in the password protected directory, but for some reason the password protection is called up with I add a Showcase gallery.

Check out these two pages…notice that they are in the same directory…the only difference between the two is one has a Showcase gallery added.

Hi Rich,
The images used in the Showcase page are getting called from a Resources folder inside your protected directory. As such the browser throws up an alert for each image it needs to place on the page. The solution is to specify separate resource folders in File > Document Setup so each folder in your site places images in a unique resources folder.
Regards,
Tim.

Not sure what would have changed…other than the recent up date to 5.6.4. This page was doing just fine until that update…but what you said makes sense. I can make the resource folder change.
