I can’t remember if this has been asked before Walter and I cannot find anything that relates to it.
when you reply to a topic via the web interface you can obviously ‘quote all’ or ‘quote last’.
Would it be possible to add a quote first option ?
several times the thread gets diverted off topic and ‘quote first’ would make life easier, as with quote all you then have to carve out the portion you need to stop the quote taking over the page.

Nice idea. Could this replace the Quote All option? I’m not sure that
the value of this outweighs the possible dangers of someone quoting
the entire thread and not trimming it.
Okay, ‘danger’ isn’t realy the right word, but you get my drift…

I have no idea what happened to your original post, Gary. I saw it in Mail, along with Keith’s post. I was definitely not awake and doing things to the code when you posted.
In other news, I have added a quote button to each message in a thread.
