I’m putting together a web-based “Keynote” presentation and want to avoid the issues of timing the graphics and audio by tying them together. I’ve basically resolved all issues with the exception of the button(s) used to advance the presentation.
I have 3 graphics that I’m using in sequence, each with their own audio track.
Layer 1 appears with the graphic fading in and the audio playing just fine. The “proceed” button which triggers the next layer appears after an appropriate delay. So far, so good.
Clicking “proceed (#1)” triggers the appearance of Layer 2 (graphic and audio), clears the “proceed (#1)” button with the use of Transition FX, and displays “proceed (#2).” Everything works fine with the exception that I can’t figure out how to delay the arrival of “proceed (#2).”
I think I’ve tried every possible setting in Transition FX to get “proceed (#2)” to delay its appearance. I’d like to have each “proceed” to delay as a visual cue that the audio track isn’t finished.
Any help would be greatly appreciated … Robert
