Transparency issue

Added a pix of trestle bridge w/transparent background. When I publish, it has a solid bluish background over the background gradient. What am I doing wrong with the graphic? I tried importing both PSD and PNG graphics, both with fully transparent backgrounds.

???

Thanks.

Are you importing the PNG image as pass-through or as a “regular” image? If regular, try checking in the Inspector to see if it is being converted to a JPG instead of remaining a PNG? If it started as a transparent PNG, then be sure that it is set in the Inspector to 24-bit PNG, and the real transparency will be maintained. If you don’t do that, then the image will become a JPG with “fake” transparency, based on whatever color is sampled from the 1,1 (top-left corner) pixel.
