Troubleshooting Show Hide Layer Action

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am developing a freeway pro site using the Target Show Hide Layer Action with the page action Sequence Timer. In every attempt (jpg, png) I see random grey lines appearing on the left or right of my photo images.(firefox, Safari, IE)

I have checked the source images in photoshop and found no problems. I have also tried changing the graphic inspector properties by adding white borders which I read in a previous post but this did not fix the problem either.

All images are the same pixel dimension and are aligned but the lines persist. Any advise on how to fix this would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you

Hi Anthony

It is always really useful to us here if you post a link to a problem page. Not only can we see what you are trying to achieve but we can also look at the background code to your site.

Setting Document output to HTML: More readable also helps us.

I found border work best when they are set to Inside.

Maybe try the white border again and set it to Inside.

I dragged on of your photos off onto the Desktop and opened it in Photoshop, and it has grey lines on the right hand side and the bottom. Are you saying that these definitely were’t there before you put them into Freeway?

Hi Anthony,

I’ve seen this before in support and stems from working while zoomed in. If you do the following it should fix the problem:

  1. Select the first image in the stack and look in the Inspector palette

  2. Click the Width icon four times, this is a box with a horizontal two headed arrow

  3. Click the Height icon four times, this is a box with a vertical two headed arrow

  4. Use the Fit Box to Content option (Item>Graphic menu)

  5. Select the second image in the stack

  6. Repeat 2, 3, 4 and 5 for all the images in the stack

I think what is happening is that you are getting invalid decimal points in your item width and heights, the steps above will clear them for you.
