Two Blogger Template Questions

Hi, everyone.

Two Blogger questions:
I’m creating a website that will include news articles that I’ll update every few days. Ultimately, this section of the website might hold a total 20 or 30 different articles. I’d also like to allow visitors to comment on the articles as they’re added.

Can the Blogger template in FW5 accomplish this? Each article would be on a different page and the visitor should feel as though they’re still in the main website, not a third-party site.

Also, when I tried to test out the Blogger action, I couldn’t find the Blogger Header action. The instructions say to draw and HTML box, then hit the plus sign to add the Blogger Header, but I couldn’t find it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jamie

The Softpress tutorial is somewhat sparse at parts, but if you goto ‘Insert’ and then 'Action Item…" there should be your blogger items.

Maybe someone on here can suggest a method for your article idea, but good luck.

That worked! Thanks, Mitchell.

If anyone else can answer the first question – about setting up the Blogger format to accommodate multiple articles, that would be terrific. I’m told that I should be able to do that using Wordpress or Dupal, but I’d rather use the Google/Softpress system if at all possible.

Thanks,
Jamie

Now that I think about it, you’d be able to do that. You’d have to set your pages to “Post Pages” in the settings so each page would have it’s own “perma-linked” pages for separate comments.
