Hi there!
I would love to know what the best way is to make a slideshow with two different sections like on the website. Just make two separate slideshows, or is there a different action for it, that sporadically also one big picture comes up and then splits into two again, like on the website.

There is no action that can do this.
This is a Drupal website that may utilise a custom gallery module - but not one I am familiar with.

Drupal is a crime only germans can commit!
My approach would be “faking” the images (which I did with showcase in the past like here Optik Günther - Dreifach gut beraten! ). Naturally not perfect. Drupal is better (Uahhh).

Interesting idea Thomas - so you actually only have 1 image per slide but each image is a composite of 2 (or more) - that would work!

I’ve recommended this one to Carousel2 users, too. Just group the two images, and apply the Action to the group.
