units and dimensions

I assume that the units of any line width is in points. Is it possible to change that to - let’s say - millimeters (mm) or any other unit.

e.g. in the stroke inspector panel I can enter values for the “dash” field. How do I have to enter the values there?

The stroke inspector currently only accepts points for units.

oh bad news in this regard. That means that I have to calculate every value I have from millimeters to points, right?

But how about accuracy then?
0.12mm → 0.340pt
0.16mm → 0.454pt
0.18mm → 0.510pt

Wiht how many decimal places is Intalgio dealing?

We’ve received requests for millimeter strokes before so that may appear in the next version or two.

Intaglio generally displays 3 decimal places but saves these parameters as 32 bit IEEE floating point values. This doesn’t directly translate into the number of decimal places but amounts to about six significant digits (e.g., 123.456 or 0.123456).
