Upgrade 5.5 Pro to 5.6 Pro

Are there any issues upgrading? Do existing sites need any adjustment of any kind?
Thanks

Are there any issues upgrading?

If there were they have been forgotten about since transitioning to 6

5.6.something was the last version of 5.5 (I know, crazy numbering system, eh?) and then 6 is the next “major” version.

Yes, I meant upgrading from 5.5 to 6.0.8. It seems to me that when 6 first came out there were a few issues as is normal with a major upgrade.

Generally speaking, keep using 5.5 on your existing sites and use 6 for new ones. I’ve converted a handful of my 5.5 sites to 6 without a hitch, but you never know.

What is required to convert?

All you need to do is open a FW 5.5 file with FW6. It will do the conversion itself and create a 5.5 friendly backup of your site (as 5.5 won’t open a file created in 6).
