Uploading - help

Thanks for the suggestions - tried them - but nothing has helped.
If I could find out where the - actually two files - _clear.gif & _blank.gif are -
maybe it would help in completely deleting them, or changing the pages they
may reside on.
I’ve deleted my copy of Pro 4 with the upgrade and have gone back to Pro 4 without
the current upgrades. I’ll try to rebuild the site in that version - but it would be more helpful
if I could find out more about these files.

These two files are important to how Freeway works. All versions if Freeway have ouput the _clear.gif, more recent ones have output the _blank.gif for PNG fixes.

If these are needed files, then I have to take a different approach. I want to load the site to the free ftp space at aol so it can be reviewed by a few people before it’s uploaded for final usage. Does anyone have any current experience trying to upload to aol and hints beyond what is in the softpress manual? I know it’s archaic, but, when using Pro 3.5 I never had many problems doing this.

One favourite way of trying to overcome upload issues is to toggle the Passive FTP setting.

File>Document setup - Choose the upload Tab and then try toggling between Passive FTP checked or not.

If it is checked then uncheck and try uploading again and vice versa if it is unchecked.

If this doesn’t sort it you may have to use Transmit or similar to clear out the server space and try again.
