I just made a new page, did uploead it - and it took not more than 1 hour and 3 minutes to upload - it takes ALL the photos each time ( do have many photos)… why? And if i discover a small spelling mistake, well, then it takes another hour to upload.
Someone have any suggestions?
I am pissed

Post a link to your page(s) so that we can have a look at the site in general in case there is something odd about it.

WOW! That is a lot of pics.
What is going on with the background fade action - on this page - http://www.borzoi.no/plannedlittera.html - after it fades you cannot read the text.
There are a few reasons why the whole site is uploaded every time
Mismatch between your mac time and the server time - fw checks the creation dates of files and uploads new ones. Is your Mac’s battery OK
Actions - certain actions ‘dirty’ a page on publish requiring a new upload.
There are others too.
What changes have you made recently?

Thank very much for you respone. About the text on planned litter - have now changed that to a lighter colour, then it should be readable.
Do think the battery is just fine on my Mac.
Do you think if I remove everything at my server, and upload it all from start - sort of start out “fresh” again, would that help maybe? It’s for sure very annoying when it does upload all the photos every time - when I eg. just have corrected a small spelling mistake.
The recent change was on the news page, added somephotos taken in august.

Freeway usually does a great job of uploading all the files (and making sure that it knows to only upload the files that have changed since the last upload) - but ultimately Freeway is not a dedicated FTP app, so it is worth considering using a specialist FTP app and then use that app’s “synchronize” feature to synch what’s on the server with what you are about to upload.
Try downloading and installing an app like Cyberduck, Fetch or Transmit and then go to Freeway and choose File Copy in the Upload dialog, set up a File Copy folder on your hard disk and publish all your files into there. You can then log in to your server using the FTP app and then drag and drop the entire contents of the File Copy folder into the Upload window of the FTP app. Once this first upload is complete, you can then synchronize what’s on the server with what’s in your File Copy folder on your hard disk.
I appreciate that this is an extra step each time, but using a dedicated FTP app will mean that it should all work without the frustration. The alternative is to trawl through the site to try to find out what’s causing the problem - and, as DeltaDave suggest, it might be down to an issue with using two or more particular Actions.

Thanks for the reply - this all started when the gallery option came, and I did make galleries … instead of having forever long pages with photos.
I will try what you have suggested, and will cross my fingers that it will work. If not I probably need to remove some actions…
