Anyone had issues with Freeway not publishing usemap url’s in the
Freeway code?
The (php) page is a box model that has inline grapics with usemaps
applied to them. If I copy the page to a new document set it as
a .html page the the usemaps publish correctly.
Strange, could you send your file to support please.
Thanks,
Joe

I was not thinking clearly. It was our php site being worked on locally in MAMP. It has includes at the footer of the page (the source files are online) MAMP does not show PHP errors in the browser, which was stopping any usemap code from being generated “after” the footer error. The site is now online of working correctly.
Too many Mince Pies over Christmas must have Defuddled my brain. That and spending best part of Christmas re-doing the Web site, de-cluttering the content that has amassed over the years. Would you believe the home page ended up with a total of 64 links! so I’ve sacked 38 of them leaving 4 plus the menu.
If anyone is interested, I could do with “usability” testing from other willing Freewaytalk members.
Tell me if anything does not make sense or not in a logical order, any feedback or reporting of oddities would be gratefully received.
Strange, could you send your file to support please.
Thanks,
Joe

That’s looking very nice indeed David, the mince pies weren’t all bad after all. The one thing I would add to it is a link to the homepage on your logo, other than that it looks like a very well thought out and clear design. Bravo!

Same comments as Joe. Clicking on the logo to ‘go home’ seems to be a
convention that’s well recognised. Other than that, very clean and
professional - just the image for a printer/web host - and easy to
find your way around. (Prices aren’t bad either!). The Help tab is a
good idea, too.
The only glitch I’ve found, so far, is when you click on ‘Printed
Product Enquiry’ under “Printed Mugs, Pens, Pads” . In Safari, at
least, it creates an error dialog “could not get Form object myform”.

I think it’s some Javascipt validation file its looking for. I’ve noticed that forms don’t work too well in a full box model page, and need to use the multi-forms action - I think some forms need double checking.

Seem like many forms have actually broken in this version of the site.
The PHP feedback form action is not working as it should :- Let me have a look why.

I may have to hand code it for now until I find out why Freeway does not like the page.

That could be down to the box model - try applying the multiple feedback from like you suggested previously, failing that you may need to use the trick of placing a form item on the pasteboard and hiding it (IIRC).
