I had placed this at the end of another thread, but actually would like a suggestion from anyone here.
I needed a page with user registration, and didnt know how to put that into a freeway site. I need to have a gateway for my students, and eventually to have a pay gateway for my online courses, which will also include video content (cant use youtube as I am in China).
So I got my secretary to build a wordpress site, using LMS Lifter for the user registration.
Bad choice. It took her forever to make it, it looks clunky. And I discovered I have to hire a coder every time we want to add a field (nup, I dont code). Arrrggghhh. Not happy.
Any alternatives that would work with a freeway site?

You are going to have to do a little bit of what could charitably be called “coding”, but it’s going to be down to pasting two lines of code into the Page / Extended dialog in Freeway for the pages you want to secure (or the master page/s that create those pages).
Have a look and let me know what you think. I have never used this, but I recall other Freeway users raving about it years ago.

And what is currently a good shopping cart system to interface with Freeway? I have not needed it before, just got away with paypal buttons. But for this site, I need it neatly connected in there.

I’ve used Mals Ecommerce with many times over the years building it into client’s Freeway sites. There used to be Freeway action to help, but to be fair it’s fairly easy to just build the cart into the Freeway pages. Link Mal’s to your payment gateway and you’re off.
