Validation issue

Hi

I’ve just been adjusting the Imagic Design site a little, and thought it would be worth adding the W3C validation buttons.

I use Firefox with an add-on (Chris Pederick’s Web Developer), which can check the local HTML and CSS. Oddly, while the HMTL passes with flying colours, the CSS fails.

Now, on checking further, it passes for CSS3, but fails on CSS2.1. The button I’ve embedded as markup on the home page refers the visitor to the CSS2.1 page, where it fails.

I now notice the W3C doesn’t currently have an official CSS3 badge.

Is there a way around this? I’m a little confused.

Thanks

Heather
