WebYep menu

I’m having a bit of trouble with the WebYep menu element and I hope someone on this list can help me out. If I place a menu element on a page (news.php) and add menu elements, each new menu item links to the URL news.php?DOC_INST=#. I understand that part. But how do I include the parent page in the menu line up? Does that have to be hard-coded? Whenever I add a new menu item and indicate the link as news.php, it simply creates a new instance. I’ve also tried entering the absolute URL to the parent page and it still creates a new instance.

Hi Jennifer
The webyep menu will create an instance automatically… its webyep’s ways of trying to make sure that webyep menu doesn’t have duplicates.
The only way around this and to see the target page (with no page instance) is to place a webyep item before the menu for example a long-text item and create your link within that and target the specific url. You would need to style it to match the menu but that will work.

I have sent you a description directly to your email address which i did for someone else a few years back I hope that helps but if not let me know.
all the best Max
