WepYep and going live help?

try making another dev folder and copying all the content from the original folder into the new one

Good idea - but no. I tried that and I get pages with no WebYep content.
I also tried moving a page to the top level of the site, and I got the same result.

The webyep-system folder is at the top level of the site, and the ‘data’ folder that contains all the content parts is in there. The new pages are inside a folder called ‘redesign’, which is at the top level of the site. I wonder if there’s a way to reset the path that connects the pages to their content?

I haven’t reuploaded the pages from Freeway in case I mucked up the current site and didn’t get joy with the new one. I do have a full backup (webyep data and all), but I don’t want to cause her any stress.

This may not be the “approved” method but it’s worked for me without a
hitch on a few occasions. Open the “documents” file in the Data folder
and change the relative path for your WY items to the desired one. Use
Find and Replace in your fav editor.
