What did I do wrong - again? LOL

I used Yummy FTP and dragged and dropped all the file over and it looks like this.

When you click on Site Folder it goes to the website

but the first shot is not showing the pages with just the list of links.

I hope this makes sense?

Thanks

bill

More information.

I dragged and dropped file with Yummy FTP and my WowSlider works.

When I looked at the files and index.html was missing so I went to Freeway and uploaded the files thinking it would fix it.

Now the WowSlider is not working.

This test site is a different web host from the last one I was working with so I’m a little confused.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Why aren’t you using Freeway to upload your files?

Because the Wow Slider has to have manually uploaded folders

data1
engline1

to make it work.

So I upload through Freeway and with the old test site I would just manually put those folders through YummyFTP. It’s not working this time.

I am getting a 404 from this link - http://test.thevst.com/engine1/script.js

That tells me that the engine1 folder is not where it should be or the files/folders are not correctly named.

Check where you have uploaded these files/folders to.

I wish I could take a screen shot and attach it so you can see my ftp files and where they are.

Well - basically it’s a path issue which will mean:

All files are connected (in your markup) to a place e.g.:

http://test.thevst.com/engine1/jquery.js

which will mean, that the “engine1” folder (the correct names assumed???) is expected in the main root, alongside the rest of the files. Error 404 (not found) means there isn’t any.

Attaching images is possible. I place them in my dropbox public folder, visiting this site: Daring Fireball: Markdown Web Dingus taking the snippet:

![alt text](/path/img.jpg "Title")

and substitute the path to the image (aha - paths!!!) by the copied link to dropbox like so:

![Reginald - The Wizard](https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8231701/screeners/reginald-the-wizard.jpg "Reginald - The Wizard")

That magically makes images appear and looks like this:

Cheers

Thomas

PS: Once created Reginald for later use - but totally forgot about him.
