DeltaDave has a good point here… Our inner humanity, sense of group belonging and mutual respect are still activated even though our relationship is purely electronic. (In fact, if Dan was in reality a robot or even just a piece of brilliant software, we would never know and yet attach to him emotional attributes that triggers our own natural “click & weir” emotional programs that run deep within the human nature…)
Anyway, whoever spent hours, late at night, and eventually falling asleep, on Dan’s voice while listening to his Freeway Casts… you understand our attachment to this Freeway member.
So glad to hear you will be back Dan, I have been enjoying the Freeway casts of yours that I purchased in the past, and lamenting that these might not continue in the future. They are so clear and helpful. I think everyone goes through some time when they need to regroup and reboot. I have, and have come out much better for it.
Very, very happy to hear you’re all right, Dan. You’re one of my gurus, and I hope you’re able to resolve whatever is happening in your life at the pace and comfort level that makes sense for you. We’ll all be happily waiting for your return whenever that is.

I have set up a Twitter account for the site and have been working on a Facebook page to bring everyone back around. I know a lot of people want access to their member account, so those will be back online soon enough.
I’ll let SP know what those details are and hopefully I can regroup a bit with an announcement on the board here.

Well right now, no time frame is set. I’ve been working long hours lately and I hope to get some work done on it this weekend so I can get things back up before the beginning of November.

I can appreciate that with the new job and the holidays coming up, you don’t have much time… just wondering if you’ve got a new time-frame for getting your great tutorials back online? What about the Blog and Twitter?
Dan, I know you’ve got plenty of things to sort out in your own time, but do know that, to me at least, you have really become an invaluable part of the FW community. I’ve learned techniques from your tutorials that have saved me hours of time and empowered me to do great things with Freeway. I hope to see you back soon!

Is there any news on Dans new website. I love his tutorials and have made it through building a webyep site but I only had the first couple of tutorial vids.
Should have bought everything whilst I had the chance!
I’m now interested in Expression Engine but I’d feel more comfortable if I could watch Dans videos first.
Hi Alan, I do have the 14 episodes of Dan’s first 3 EE series, but too bad it stopped there. Even though more episodes were mentioned, Dan never finished the series … a shame I must say, Dan being such a great narrator and providing such great video’s.
