But just in case someone like me is wondering where it is…
it’s not actually a button, and on a macBook things are different, double tapping a picture doesn’t do anything for me, but it I use two fingers on my finger pad and press and hold them down, I get a popup menu the first few items are
graphic
edit
update
resample
it’s not a button! it’s a pop up menu! BIG difference in my mind.

It’s both. It’s fine to use the ‘two-fingered’ contextual menu (same as control-clicking, by the way) but you should also get a whole new box up when you double-click the picture, macbook or not.

Paul, thanks, Are you talking about the box that says graphic items? I don’t see a resample button there, and actually when I double click nothing happens (may be a setting on my MacBook in system preferences >hardware>track pad ? I don’t see what you are talking about yet.

Ah, that worked well. Bear with me a moment…
I put the ‘markdowny’ code in to display a screenshot but it doesn’t seem to have worked.

ok, I have freeway pro 5.5 and as far as I know, I have all the windows from the top menu checked but no where no how do I see a way to make that window you just showed me pop up…
It’s a nice window too! Thanks for showing me that image. There must be a step I’m missing here. I’ll go back and re-read the tutorial from step one and see if I can figure it out.
cool program though I’m enjoying learning about it.

Not sure what you mean—what top menu?

Just double-click any picture. If it doesn’t work, something’s wrong somewhere; possibly with your trackpad settings, as you mentioned?

The top of my screen on my MacBook has an apple, then Freeway Pro AS then File, Edit, Page, Item, Style, Insert etc…
I just investigated my track pad settings, they seem to be in order… It’s a mystery. I sure do appreciate everyone’s help though. !

You can get to it by selecting the graphic and then use Edit>Resources to show a list of all the graphic files. Select the one you want from the list and then use the Edit button (bottom right)
This will bring up the dialogue box that Paul showed you earlier.
However - as Paul suggested- double clicking any graphic on your FW page should have the same effect.

Yes of course, so does mine; it’d be odd if it didn’t!
But what do you mean when you say “I have all the windows from the top menu checked”? Which top menu? How do you check a window?

DeltaDave, thanks I can find the box that way ! But can’t make it pop up by double clicking the image.
Paul, on the top menu bar, towards the right side of the list of menus is one that says “Window” under that are; minimize, new window, Tools, Inspector, Styles & Colors, Actions, Frames, hide palettes, etc…
if I select some of those words, a dialogue box shows up, such as the Inspector box. That’s what I meant, when I said I have all the windows checked. All the windows that can be opened are open, and there is a little check mark next to the words, like Tools, Inspector, etc.

Ah, I get it. The window with the ‘Resample’ button isn’t any of those, it only pops up when you need it.
