™ ™ ™ ™ Interesting. I get the TM if I go Option-2 and that other
symbol if I go Option-Shit-2, opposite of what you get. Could it be
the keyboard? I’m using the new Mac keyboard, the flat silver one.
Well, one or the other should give you that!

I believe that this all has to do with the difference between the US
and UK keyboard layouts. If you have enabled the keyboard switcher
(Flag icon in your menu bar, next to the date) then you can easily
open the Keyboard Viewer and check out all the option-shift-command
key equivalents on a miniature keyboard. You enable this feature on
the International pane of System Preferences.

Can be a difference between Freeway 4 and Freeway 5? I have Freeway 4
working at the moment. With an older US keyboard. Option 2 does it
for me.

I doubt it. Both 4 and 5 are fully Unicode, and will respond to the
way the Mac OS is configured as far as keyboard and character set and
such. Are these versions 4 and 5 running on the same Mac under the
same user?

I haven’t tried it in both. Just a thought. Mine is working fine with Option + #2.
