This is a really nice tool to use - thanks Tim.

On one site I have done, it does show that an xml site map is missing, although I have used the FW site mapper action? Any ideas

Hi Nathan,
If you apply the action to the home (root) folder of your site then
the sitemap.xml file will get uploaded to the home directory on the
server.
For example;
http://www.austinwellsdesign.co.uk/sitemap.xml

Check that the file is there (for the site in question) by entering
the address in your browser. Also make sure that Google’s webmaster
tools is aware of the sitemap by submitting it manually.
Regards,
Tim.

Hi Nathan,

This is caused by a bug that has been fixed in the latest internal build. To get round the problem could you remove and reapply the Action from the Site Folder in Freeway, delete any sitemap.xml files from your actual Site Folder and republish.

Apologies,

Joe

OK. It sounds like the action found a duplicate site map in the site
folder and renamed the new one to avoid overwriting the old one. Let
me know if this happens again.
You can clear this by emptying the site folder and force publishing
the whole site (hold down the control key and File/Publish Everything)
or by manually changing the name and FTPing the file into the server
again.
Regards,
Tim.
