Yahoo

My client created their own holding page for a site we were doing and in doing so, put completely the wrong description tag on the site as they were testing things out and forgot to remove it before the site was indexed. I have now removed the holding page a uploaded the live site. Is there a way to remove the cached holding page from Yahoo and resubmit, or do they just have to wait for the natural index again?

The description they put on the holding page is not really appropriate for the new site!

There is a page in Yahoo for Site Submission http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit

But like the other crawlers this may not speed anything up and you might just have to be patient.

Be grateful it was them that b****sed it up!
