YouTube play in HD

Hi all

I am using the Responsive Video action to embed a YouTube video. I would like to set the video to play automatically in HD.

YouTuve has a code for this which is “vq=hd720.” However, when I add it to the “Video embed code,” (puuting ?rel=vq=hd720 after the link ID), the video still plays in SD.

Anyone know how to use responsive video action with YouTube, and make it play in HD?

Thanks in advance!

I suggest you’d use Walters responsive video action, with works just fine for HD Youtube content.

The quality your browser is ging to show can be up to the youtube preferences.

That’s Tim’s work, not mine. I recommend it as well!

I’ve found something online, which could be of help. Adding ‘?VQ=720’ to the video-reference automatically will (force) load the 720p video.

Only when doing so the autoplay will shut down, so I’ve added the complete string to it: ‘6h14kKbFmSs?VQ=HD720&autoplay=1&controls=0&&showinfo=0&loop=1’ (without the quotes). This solves it.
