I wrote this on the online forum because I didn’t realize this thread was dead. I presume my suggestion which probably seemed like change for it’s own sake is why I received such a hostile reply to my questions about the development of the product.
It looked to me as though there was an ongoing discussion about moving the forum - and that Net4Mac was under consideration. I thought I was helpfully making sure Google groups was considered if such a change was being considered.
I am guessing that people who are reading this by email saw my suggestion with no context and it looked like something I was starting on my own.
This is both sad and ironic given that the forum software itself may have caused the misunderstanding.
I did actually buy Intaglio in the end and I think it’s the best thing but don’t feel as excited about it as I would have done because of this reception.

For the record, the Regards were from me and I was really wondering
what a google group would do that this one wasn’t doing.
As for the “reception”, inasmuch as I am concerned, I just reread
what I had written and still think that I wrote exactly to the points
that were raised. However, I deeply regret if I have given you an
impression of hostility and hope that this will not color your
experience with Intaglio.
