Can anyone think of the main reason why when using the scripty fader action I cannot get the information from the other html box (which has the scripty fader option action on it) to show up immediately when the person arrives at page like it used to for me.
They have to click the thumbnail for it to appear but since i have 10 thumbnails I need the first one to show up when they arrive at the page. This then changes each month so the newest shows.
I have moved the item in the column thing on the left to the TOP so it is first but it is still not showing up first.
I would send you page but it is password protected.
Sorry for the vague details.
Also when I click thumbnail and it shows, then when I visit the page after that it always shows!
I should also add I have 5 pages that use the fader- I duplicate the page when I need a new one. But change the name of the HTMl item that the fader is active on.
If you can help by seeing the page, I can unlock it.

Not quite sure I understand your question as the SF option action is applied to the subsequent items and not the primary one.
The primary item should be the one with the SF action.
for the last year, assuming I do not screw things, up Walt explained that when using this, one html box of info (the first one) that uses the fader will appear in the main frame.
This prevents it from looking blank when someone arrives.
For my use, parents will see 12 thumbnails, 1 for each month
when they arrive they see the info for this current month.
Before today, when they arrived they saw info for November (the current month) in the box.
Now on every page that uses this action and the simple test example, nothing appears on page load, you have to press a thumbnail to see ANY info.
The next month I just click on the December HTMl box with the tutoring info that took place and apply the action to that html box.
Then, to get it to appear on load in and most importantly I used to put that current month FIRST in the site pane and that one would appear on load in.
The parent could always click the other thumbnails to see prior months but on page load in the current month showed.
I don’t see anything particularly wrong with this test page. You are using the current (latest) Prototype and Scriptaculous, so you should see consistent behavior in all browsers. If you get anything different than that in this particular test page, please let me know the exact browser where you see the problem. If you get something else in a more complex page, then that could be down to inter-Action problems, which is not an unheard-of thing. Your pages tend to be quite heavy and full of effects.
