D Got most of it corrected; albeit I left the “text too close to container” and name under image on Contact page as is as a matter of choice.
Now the way it responds in FF and Safari seems okay at all widths from here.
I did NOT find why the CSS menu is different for some of the ‘items’ -( It may be ‘how’ the item was ‘created’.} The ones with difficulty in placement and use always have the CSS circle in the upper left corner of the Inspector, rather than down 5 or 6 lines - and the items in the inspector are slightly different.
Any clues?
