Anyone manage to get TinyMCE version 4.x and WebYep working together? TinyMCE 3.5.x works fine.

Thanks very much indeed Max – got it working on:

http://www.communique-test.co.uk/kingston/work-gallery.php

However, I get a 403 Forbidden β€˜Access to this resource on the server is denied!’ error on here:

It looks like it’s trying to access:
http://www.hbheritageconservation.co.uk/webyep-system/program/editors/rich-text.php but is being denied.

This is whenever I try to cancel or save any Rich Text item. Images are fine, as are Short Text items.

The new editing window comes up with the revised icons etc, I just can’t cancel or save. Php configuration problem?

Hi

Would be forever grateful for some more instructions on where to upload that script and how to activate it.

My old setup has stopped working and I am lost…!

thanx

It has to be there:
webyep-system/programm/editors (replace the original rich-text-tinymce.php file). Then it should work.

Hi every one yes webyep 2 works with tiny mce 4 and the latest ck editor but the new webyep 2 has redactor built in along with an image and file manager
In the mean time I need to post an adaption for the existing version so webyep 1 will work with tiny mce 4

I promise to do that tomorrow

Hi Max,

just one more question about the new web yep:
will it be possible to update existing sites from WY1 to WY2 and transfer the data (e.g. via copying some files from the data folder within the webyep-system) that the site doesn’t have to be refilled completely new?

I am dying to know when the marvel WY2 will be released. Is there any schedule? – I know, 2nd one

thanks and greets

ok how to install
look inside
webyep/system/program/editors
you should see a file called : rich-text-tinymce.php

just rename it to this:
xrich-text-tinymce.php

then download the zip file and place the expanded file into the same folder:
webyep/system/program/editors

https://infinit.io/_/3jJhMbd

then finally create a new folder within the opt folder: webyep-system/progam/opt/
called

tinymce

and thats it you do not need to download the tinymce package at all you need is to create a folder with the correct name and the tinymce will be activated

kind regards max

Hi purity the actual data can be transferred from version 1 to 2 and then back again if you wish,
in fact there is no difference in the way webyep creates the links and keeps track of all the files so the actual data is tottaly transferable

schedule … i have given up saying soon as its never soon enough… all I can say is I have decided to hold back as its 1 being tested by quite a few people and even though its all coming back positive there has been issues which have been resolved… but most importantly php7 is out and I wanted it to work with that before full launch

I hope that helps everyone speak soon max

Hi Max,

thank you for your response. So good to hear that the data could be transferred.
I’m really looking forward for the release and will buy it as soon as it’s available.

Greets and a smooth start in the new week!

Purity,
Have you had success getting Web Yep 2.0 and Tinymce 4 to work?
Not sure what I might be doing wrong.

I forgot to mention if you do download the replacement tinymce file …
then you need to remove the :
-2
off the end of the name for it to work
