Hello Walter
hope you are all doing well… something came up on one of my carousels if you could take a look
I have the new updated version, with carousel panes (which is very nice. On one page I have the smaller images on a grid. on another page I have the larger images on the scroll
I have linked smaller images to each larger images. This works fine with all my other carousels, but this time
Many of the larger images pop up on the wrong side of page, far to the right instead of in the middle…
but if you stay on the page and scroll thru the images are lined up correctly…
can you take a look and advise??
I’m not sure what I’m looking at here, can you make a screenshot of
how you see it when it’s wrong, and what you’d like it to look like
instead, and post those somewhere I can look at them?
Generally, when things don’t line up, it’s because individual panes of
the carousel are different sizes. In order for this effect to work
correctly, each pane should be a complete duplicate of the others,
which is why I recommend drawing one and duplicating it for the
others, then applying the Actions.

Sorry to snap. No, what I mean is take a screenshot showing the
problem. I don’t see any problems here. I can’t reproduce your
results. But then maybe I’m overlooking what you mean. Take a
screenshot, open it in Photoshop and add a layer and put some lines or
boxes or something to show me where you think things should align,
compared with where you are seeing them align. Use Photoshop’s Save
for Web feature to make a JPEG, upload it to your Web server, and post
a link to that image.
I can’t see your Freeway document from here, so I have no idea what is
going wrong. It looks fine to me.

If you want to add a folder to your site, just create a folder in
Freeway’s site pane. Add a page to that folder, drag the photo onto
the page, and upload.
Or get a copy of Transmit or Fetch or some other FTP application and
use that.

just spoke to server and they said to send you link to show you the
problem
Try replacing the # with a ? in your URL, that will trigger the built
in “scroll to here” behavior in Carousel. The page will load, and then
the scrolling effect will start moving and end on the pane you
indicated with your querystring (as opposed to the anchor, which you
are currently using).

Maybe this may help. this is the info I put in hyperlink from
smaller image to larger one. anchor
roryportraits.html#tiger
as the problem is not within the scroll page itself, It is
definitely within the smaller image links…
thx for looking into it
