Thanks a lot Max for your more then excellent work! I was wondering, there
will be within a while a Dreamweaver plugin. I know the Adobe Muse
community is also very hungry for a simple CMS. Will WY2 work for Muse like
Dreamweaver will do?
Great news Max. I’m not the brightest spark when it comes to getting a handle on these new things but imagine it will all be easier with the Freeway Action version - any news on that yet?
Regards
Kev

Probbaly coming just in timne for a project a client and I were talking about yesterday. I guess the questions I have are -
Firstly, is WebYep 2 backwards compatible with 1? Is there a migration guide?
and
Secondly - are the new Actions intended to replace the version 1 Actions, or are they an entirely new batch so I can carry on using V1 Actions and WebYep in projects where they are currently used, or is it a case of “replace and hope”?

Hi Paul all new actions and they are already rewritten
The new ones are controlled from the a main folder action which can be set to version 1 or version 2 output and that effects all actions in the project which makes things easier
I need to send you them as the freeway version of webyep 2 contains the pro rich text editor as well

Thanks for the reply, and that’s a neat idea using the Folder Action to set the output version.

Carla… as for where is it:
I am obliged to place the open source system on gihub and that can be found here: GitHub - maxfancourt/WebYep: Web Content Management System
but I am able to sell the the freeway actions and commercial version which is exactly the same as the open source version but I have added a commercial rich text editor and file an image uploader to it… I have been snowed under for weeks with work and everything has had to take a back seat until I clear that first before I can set time aside to release the commercial version
