Look strange Max,
Carousel is working with scriptaculous.
If i set javascript library choice to scriptaculous, carousel is working but i cannot access to webyep logon window anymore.
The message is “you need to enable javascript in your browser” but it is yet…
What did i do wrong ?

that sounds like you have too many libraries
if you already have a freeway action that uses script then more than likely its already written the js library reference into the head… If that is the case then in the config file set the
preferred library to none
modal window to scripty
lightbox to scripty
then that should work

Thanks Max but in that case, Carousel is working but Lightbox doesn’t anymore.
I have the same message when i want to logon from the page where lightbox is installed and no more arrows to navigate from one image to another one.

have you looked to see where the carousel script is being added
is it before the end of the body or is it in the head?

Hi Max,
so on the home page I use a sequence page action based on Scriptaculous.
On other pages i use lightbox included in Webyep 2
and finally Carousel 2 on other pages.
Is there a conflict between those actions ?
Isn’t it possible to use all of them on the same website when using Webyep ?
Anyway to fix it ?

Hi alain
first I would turn modal windows off set set that to none
then check to see if an image light box works
the editing will work because we have set webyep back to pop up windows
if its works then its a conflict with the different scriptaculus carousel script and the modal windows
if it doesn’t then disable lightbox and and re enable modal window and check
if you still get errors then you have a proper conflict with the carousel and any webyep own script based effects scripts
I haven’t used the freeway scripty stuff much so hence why I am saying check to see whats causing it

Hi Max
when the options are set to scripty either Lightbox or Carousel are working with Webyep.
I only have some issues with Rich text editor that sometimes accepts modifications sometimes not especially with french accentuation.
Sometimes even the spellchecker propositions are not retained.
I have to log out from Webyep and try again to succeed.
However the document and config file creator are set to french and unicode UTF8.
Nevertheless i sincerely thank you for all the support you provide on FreewayTalk.

Hi Max,
i have built a lightbox gallery with Webyep new version and with your help.
It works well but i have an issue with the “alt” text option in the image action.
If i write an apostrophe in a caption, the text following it is not visible.
For example :
- collection Musée Faure d’Aix-les-Bains -
The text following the d’ doen’t appear.

yep a real apostrophe does break it so you have a few choices
1 - add an acute accent
´
2 - or a modifier letter apostrophe
´
3 - or escape a normal apostrophie which a & #39; (remove the space between the & and the #)
'
this method will work but I think the minute you return to it and try to amend it in webyep it converts it into a standard apostrophe, so you are back to it being breaking so I would use one of the others if you can
